This letter was not at the meeting so the committee was in agreement that as long as this request was in line with the others as well as in compliance with existing code, they recommended grandfathering .

The equity slip owner for slip 91  and 21 at Quail has made a verbal request . I am not sure if the spelling of the name is correct which I have as Michael Kirra.  The committee is recommending that if their situation is in line with the others and they are in compliance with existing code, they recommend grandfathering,

Robert Martin is O.K. with relinquishing slip

Stephen and Michael Liming are property owners and yacht club members and have slips 5 and 7 at Quail.  They are requesting slip 7 be transferred to the Rogers who have been using it for the past 3-4 years (they have had their name on the waiting list and  $100.00 deposit since last year)

Jean Toomey  asked for  an equity member to  replace Jim Fredrics vacancy, Tim nominated Bill Brailey  and  Walt Hensel 2nd all in favor

Jean Toomey asked for  replacement for Russo vacancy,  Tim  Toomey nominated  Robert  Boyd and Amato 2nd all in favor

Dave Mrcioni  a yacht club member and has annual renewable slip at Long Beach is preparinging a letter regarding his situation for the Board.

His boat is in disrepair and does not wish to lose his slip. The  committee is in favor of allowing for  a  special exception for a season’s sebaticle in the event of  personal hardship due to extenuating circumstance ie. travel-illness-disrepair  etc. This would not require a change in policy; this would hopefully encourage individuals in above situation to bring it to the attention of the committee who would then be able to utilize such slips that would otherwise go unused.

Jim Really asked if he could rent slip with cottage and does his guest need a sticker and can any guest simply tie up to his dock. Tim Toomey recommends he take his recommendations with the handbook to FII

Tim Toomey recommends that Fireworks for 4 of July be conducted 500 feet away from boats so that they (the fireworks people) would not have to make arrangements in advance to move all the boats that are too close as this was a huge problem last year.

Walt Hensel motions to end meeting and Amato 2nd.

I have included all the letters  requesting  grandfathering along with the minutes.
